Welcome to Monarc Developments – an independent property company established in 2003 when co-founders and current shareholders John Roberts, Trevor Drabbe and Dave Dominicus acquired 8000m² of prime residential land in the leafy suburb of Fernwood, Newlands (Cape Town).

Various surveys conducted at that time suggested that there was a real demand for quality estate living that retained buyer independence (privacy) whilst providing the comfort of a safe and secure environment within close proximity to all amenities.

Boshof Estate in Boshof Avenue, Fernwood became the first secure Estate in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town and still today stands as a landmark development.

Since then Monarc Developments have built a property business based on relationships rather than bricks and mortar!
